MIFARE® technology is one of the most successful RFID technologies worldwide. No matter where in the world a security system is to be built, MIFARE® can be used everywhere. This fact makes MIFARE® the preferred medium for global players, as only one technology is needed throughout the group.
The MIFARE® memory can be divided into separately secured memory blocks and is therefore suitable for the use of different systems on just one card.
MIFARE® technology is an open standard. The decision for a MIFARE® medium is not linked to the decision for a specific system integrator. Thousands of system integrators worldwide support the MIFARE® standard. In many cases, security is enhanced by additional software-based encryption.
However, for high-security applications, the use of MIFARE® DESfire or MIFARE® DESfire EV1 (also available from us) is recommended.
General: The MIFARE® ID card / MIFARE® card is a reliable and universally applicable ID card type for high security requirements. Communication between the read/write unit and the Mifare chip in the card body is contactless. The information is transferred using a data memory (E²PROM), while the ID card can remain, for example, in the ID card holder of the ID card owner. During the process, the chip is supplied with energy via radio waves, so that data exchange takes place via these radio waves/oscillations at a constant frequency of 13.56 MHz.
Area of application: Even under harsh environmental conditions such as humidity, dirt or mechanical influences, the Mifare ID card always works reliably. The Mifare ID card enables multiple functions such as BDE, parking access, company access and cashless payment in the canteen or at the petrol station.
Design/Printing: We design and manufacture your ID card design according to your specifications. The ID card can be printed in one or more colours on the front and back.
Additional security features: e.g. guilloche printing or hologram are possible.
Finishing / Multiple functions: ID card personalization is done by printing with appropriate ID card printers.
Combinable with other coding types, such as barcode, magnetic stripe and an additional contact-based memory / microprocessor chip, can be manufactured as a 4-fold hybrid ID card.
