General: The Legic Advant® chip within the ID card body transmits information contactlessly between reader and transponder. To activate the passive Legic Advant®, the chip must be brought into the electromagnetic field of the transmitting antenna of a read/write station. From this process, the Legic Advant® gains the necessary energy for the actual information exchange. Data can be read from the chip (read cycle) or encoded (write cycle).
Data transmission is encrypted using DES/3DES procedures.
A prerequisite for using Legic Advant® technology is always a so-called IAM card (baptism card). This card contains the basic coding with which every reader in use must be baptized (initialized). Without this baptism, the Legic Advant® cannot transmit any information. Only the IAM card enables the deletion and writing of a Legic Advant® transponder. With a memory size of up to 4096 bytes, the Legic Advant® can also be ideally used for multiple segments. Multiple segments can be programmed, for example, at different locations for access control or, for example, cashless payment in canteen areas.
Area of application: Can be used not only as a single application, but also for multi-applications such as access control, time recording, parking, vending machines, ticketing or cashless payment in canteen areas. Even harsh environmental conditions such as moisture, dirt or mechanical influences do not impair the reliability of the chip. (see also care instructions)
Design / Printing: We design and produce your ID card design according to your specifications. The ID card can be printed on the front and back in one or more colors using offset or screen printing.
Finishing: Personalization (data and photo) is possible digitally on-site or as a service (also online).
Combinations with other encoding types (e.g. magnetic stripe, barcode, inductive) are possible.
