The Hitag card is historically one of the most established media internationally. Its memory is divided into blocks, which can theoretically be used for multiple applications. However, the fact that all memory areas are accessible with only one password can, in practice, lead to undesirable overlaps between different system integrators.
Hitag-1 and Hitag-2 are open standards. Choosing a Hitag-1 medium does not automatically mean choosing a system integrator. The Hitag standard is supported by a very large number of system integrators.
The operating frequency of 125KHz makes the Hitag card very independent of its environment and interference. It is therefore particularly suitable for use in difficult environments.
Communication between the read/write unit and the Hitag 2 chip in the card body is completely contactless. Information is transferred using a data memory (E²PROM), while the card can remain in the cardholder's protective sleeve, for example.
Area of application: Even in harsh environmental conditions such as moisture, dirt or mechanical influences, the Hitag 2 card proves its reliability with an operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C. The Hitag 2 card enables functions such as time recording, access control and car park management.
Design/Printing: We design and produce your card design according to your specifications. The card can be printed in one or more colours on the front and/or back.
Additional security features, such as guilloche printing or holograms, are possible.
Finishing/Multiple functions: Card personalisation is done by printing with appropriate card printers. The card can be produced as a 4-fold hybrid card with other coding methods, such as barcode, magnetic stripe and an additional contact-based memory/microprocessor chip.
