Details
The EM4102 ID card/EM4102 plastic card is based on a very common and simple RFID technology worldwide:
The EM4102 chip is permanently provided with a unique 40-bit serial number in the ROM during manufacturing. This serial number is sent by the transponder upon request without further authentication and can be further processed by software. No data is written back or variable data handled. This simple functionality makes the EM4102 an extremely inexpensive identification medium for applications with low security requirements. The EM4102 operates at the very insensitive frequency of 125KHz, which can be easily used in almost any environment.
The durability of an RFID ID card is directly linked to the quality of the materials used. We therefore only offer high-quality cards. To meet special requirements, such as heat or mechanical stress, we can also offer cards made of PET/PC or hybrid materials.
Basic Functionality: Transponders are electronic data carriers that can be attached to any object. These data carriers can be read contactless over a certain distance. The transponders consist of a coil and a microchip, which together with an antenna form a transmitting and receiving unit. A reader brought nearby builds up an electromagnetic field to supply the transponder with energy contactlessly and trigger the reading process of the data stored in the chip. The transponder then sends the data stored on the chip back to the reader via an electromagnetic field. Transponders enable cost-effective identification of objects and are the only type of data carrier that can be embedded in materials and still be read with maximum security. Dirt, dust, moisture and poor visibility do not impair the function.
Area of Application: Multi-functions such as BDE, parking access, company access are enabled by the ProxiCard C-4102.
Design/Printing: We design and produce your ID card according to your specifications. The ID card can be printed in one or more colors on the front and back. Additional security features, such as guilloche printing or holograms, are possible.
Finishing/Multi-functionality: ID card personalization is done by printing with appropriate ID card printers. The ID card can be manufactured with other coding types, such as barcode, magnetic stripe and an additional contact-based memory/microprocessor chip, as a 4-in-1 hybrid ID card.
